Diego Llorente admits Roma have ‘room for improvement’

Andy Mattioli

Roma defender Diego Llorente was interviewed by Sky Sport ahead of tonight’s Europa League affair with Servette.

The Spaniard was specifically asked about the team’s defensive phase and their objective for the night.

“Against Slavia Prague we played our worst game, but that’s in the past. Against Servette we will play a different match. We have to win, we know that it is an important match for both us and for them, but we have to win it,” he said.

“The first objective is to win the match, after that we don’t know what can happen in the last match of the group. First we win tomorrow, then we look at the final position in the standings.”

“As a team we consider building from the back to be very important. We need to improve defensively and offensively, but we are a team with quality and we can score goals like Dybala’s against Udinese.”
