RomaPress – With less than 24-hours remaining, Roma welcomed their first winter reinforcement of the January transfer market.
Spanish international Diego Llorente touched down at Fiumicino Airport in Rome this evening just before 18.00 CET—a bit later than expected due to a flight delay.
He’ll undergo the first part of his medical examinations tonight before signing his deal to formalise his transfer switch to the club tomorrow morning.
The central defender is joining the Giallorossi from Leeds United where he’s spent the past two-and-a-half seasons following his arrival from Real Sociedad.
Llorente arrives to the club on loan for the remainder of the season with an option to make the deal permanent for a fee worth €15 million plus an additional €3 million in potential bonuses.
