Spanish defender Diego Llorente is unlikely to continue his stay in the Italian capital.

The player is no longer on Roma’s list of priorities for the summer as the Giallorossi seem focused on finding a younger replacement.

Sources from Spain are thus linking the ex-Real Sociedad man with a return to La Liga.

According to Relevo, Llorente is in advanced talks to join Real Betis who would sign him permanently from Leeds United.

In earlier talks with the English club, Roma refused to make a deal for Llorente permanent.

Thus, after two consecutive loans in Italy, Llorente seems on the verge of returning to Spain.
