Diego Llorente is intent on convincing Roma to be on him as a long-term option.
The Spaniard is currently on his second consecutive loan spell in the Italian capital after joining the Giallorossi in January 2023.
With only a few weeks remaining until the end of the season, Llorente wants to make sure Roma seal a permanent contract for him, ultimately buying him from Leeds United this coming summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are yet to decide whether to invest €5 million and make Llorente’s stay permanent.
The defender gets along very well with all of his teammates and has been relied upon numerous times this season given Chris Smalling’s extensive absence.
The next few weeks will serve for Roma to make an important decision on the centreback’s future and his role at the club.
