Roma January signing Diego Llorente is predicted make his debut from the start for the Italian club in tomorrow night’s Europa League showdown with Real Sociedad at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Spaniard could thus face his former side, and as a result was interviewed by Radio MARCA Donostia about his stay in Italy thus far and his general impression of Roma and its supporters.
“The truth is that the dedication of the fanbase is one of the things that surprised me the most. A lot of people come to the stadium, despite the presence of the athletics track which obstructs the view. It’s amazing how they push us in every match,” said Llorente.
“Set-pieces are a very important component of our game. It’s a strong point that we try to exploit whenever we can.”
