Roma defender Diego Llorente sat down to preview tomorrow night’s Europa League fixture with Servette.

The Giallorossi will face Servette in Geneva on Thursday night as part of their penultimate match in Group G of the competition.

In his pre-match press conference, Llorente discussed the lessons learned from Roma’s humiliating defeat to Slavia Praha from two weeks ago.

“We know that we have to improve our form away from home, we are working towards this. I think sometimes it’s a question of mentality, if we improve in this aspect we are a competitive team,” said Llorente when asked about Roma’s poor form away from Stadio Olimpico.

“I always expect of myself to give my best for the team,” he added.

“Slavia Praha? It’s in the past, for me it’s the worst we’ve ever played. Tomorrow’s game is different, it will be difficult but we have to win it because it is the most important match for us right now.”

“At the beginning of the season with Evan [Ndicka] as a new player it was a bit difficult to figure things out but day after day we are working to improve. I think we are better defensively now but I think we still have to improve and we work every day to become better.”
