Diego Llorente was able to make his first appearance from the start for Roma earlier tonight as the Giallorossi faced Real Sociedad in a winning effort at the Stadio Olimpico.
However, despite playing a very good first half, the Spanish defender suffered an injury right before half-time.
As reported in Sky Sport, Llorente experienced an issue with his thigh muscle. As a result, he was replaced by Marash Kumbulla who sealed Roma’s win with a powerful header in the final minutes of the match.
Llorente will undergo more tests in the coming days in order to determine the extent of the injury.
