Roma centreback Diego Llorente is being closely monitored after suffering an injury in the second half of the Giallorossi’s victory over Feyenoord.

The Spaniard was forced to be taken off the pitch in a stretcher after receiving a blow to the head. Evan Ndicka came on to replace him.

Llorente was immediately hospitalized at the clinic in Villa Stuart and so far CT scans have come back negative.

According to Il Tempo, however, the injury is more serious than initially believed and the defender could miss an extensive period of time.
