Former Roma man Diego Perotti weighed in on Paulo Dybala’s future in the Italian capital.

In a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the ex-Roma winger spoke about Dybala’s future and his place in Argentina’s national team.

“I don’t know what Dybala wants to do but I hope he stays at Roma,” said Perotti.

“He had a positive season, he is a champion and has a lot of experience, and is a source of goals and assists. And I am convinced that with De Rossi in charge, he can do even better, especially if he has a full pre-season with him.”

“I was surprised by his exclusion from Argentina’s squad for Copa America,” continued Perotti. “I struggle to think of an Argentina without Paulo, for everything he has done and can give. But sometimes you need to get into the heads of the coaches to really understand their choices.”
