Digne: “I want to stay at Roma.”

Lucas Digne, PSG left-back who enjoyed a fantastic season on loan at Roma, spoke to Le Parisien about his future:

At no time did you regret leaving Paris?
Oh no. Roma was a perfect choice. I had the pleasure of working at a real big club and in a big league like Serie A and, above all, I nearly always played. I felt the confidence of my manager: this is important. This will allow me to improve. I also got a lot of experience and my confidence increased.

In Serie A, the defensive aspect really is first?
The Italians take their defensive work very seriously. Their work in tactics is an art.

Where will you play next season?
I’d like to stay at Roma, but it’s not up to me. It’s a matter that concerns both clubs: PSG and Roma, so I will wait and see how the situation will evolve.
