Diogo Dalot closing in on move to Milan

Roma are close to losing out on 21 year-old Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot.

The Portuguese defender, according to Sky Sport, is closing in on a straight loan deal to Milan for the remainder of the season.

Roma were interested in bringing Dalot to the Italian capital and wanted to include him in the negotiations for Chris Smalling, however, the Rossoneri have pulled ahead and are close to landing the player.

The Giallorossi remain engaged in negotiations for Smalling, however, Dalot will no longer be included in talks as he is set to join Stefano Pioli’s side on loan from the Red Devils.
