Distance between Pallotta-Friedkin, talks continue

Negotiations between Roma president James Pallotta and American tycoon Dan Friedkin for the sake of AS Roma continue.

Il Tempo reports that there is a gap between asking price and offer between the two parties, which is holding up the sale. Given that Roma need to begin the procedures for the already-approved capital increase of €150 million, the parties are hoping negotiations can accelerate at a quicker pace.

The distance between the parties isn’t huge — but it still exists. At the moment, Dan Friedkin is remaining in Long Beach and awaiting updates while Pallotta is expected to fly to Miami soon. However, those close to the situation believe Pallotta’s partners — namely Michael Ruane, Richard D’Amore, and Paul Edgerly — will push him to accept Friedkin’s offer.
