Done deal: Tommaso Baldanzi travels to Rome ahead of Giallorossi move

Roma and Empoli have reached an agreement for the transfer of Tommaso Baldanzi who is ready to join Daniele De Rossi’s ranks.

The two clubs have made rapid progress in their negotiations reaching a successful conclusion to the deal which will be based on a loan with obligation to buy.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Baldanzi will complete a move to Roma from Empoli on loan with an obligation of €15 million including €2 million in add-ons.

Empoli will also maintain a 20% sell-on clause on the midfielder.

Baldanzi is set to travel to Rome later tonight ahead of his medical with the capital club.
