Former Napoli attacker Dries Mertens is being linked with a move to Roma.
According to Corriere dello Sport, there are increasing whispers around the capital club suggesting a move for 36-year-old Mertens.
Mertens – currently playing for Galatasaray where last season he scored 6 goals and collected 3 assists in 30 appearances – is reportedly seeking a return to Serie A.
Roma, on the other hand, are in need of a veteran forward to add to Jose Mourinho’s roster.
For the time being, Mertens is only a suggestion but reports from Italy claim Roma could inquire about him.
