Colombian attacker Duvan Zapata and his entourage are pushing to join Roma.

After a halt in talks between Roma and Atalanta occurred last night at the request of Bergamaschi boss Gian Piero Gasperini, Duvan Zapata personally met with the club’s management today.

During the meeting, Zapata reaffirmed his stance of wanting to complete a transfer to Roma, reports calciomercato.it.

At the moment, Atalanta have taken time to reflect on the situation and discuss their next steps with Gasperini who seems unwilling to part ways with his veteran attacker.

In the meantime, Roma are being linked with Romelu Lukaku as an alternative option for Jose Mourinho’s attack.
