Duvan Zapata has not given up on his desired transfer to Roma.

Despite earlier reports suggested a definite collapse of negotiations between Roma and Atalanta for Colombian attacker, Zapata is reportedly still trying to find a way to join the Giallorossi.

Zapata had been rumored as Roma’s priority to replace Tammy Abraham in the attack this season.

However, Atalanta’s change of heart caused Roma to move on to other transfer targets.

In the meantime, calciomercato.it reports that Zapata and his agent, Fernando Villareal, held a meeting with the Bergamaschi earlier today where they tried to convince the club to enable the deal with Roma.

At the moment, Roma are upset with how Atalanta have handled talks over recent weeks and consider the deal to be off.
