Duvan Zapata is pushing to join Roma from Atalanta.

The Colombian attacker is currently the favorite to reinforce Jose Mourinho’s roster.

Talks between the two clubs, however, have stalled over the last couple of days after Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini asked the club to reconsider Zapata’s exit.

The Italian technician is opposed to the move and would like to keep Zapata for another year.

In the meantime, Roma have given Atalanta a 48h ultimatum and are ready to move on to other targets for the position.

According to calciomercato.it, Zapata’s agent is set to travel to Bergamo tomorrow in order to unlock the deal and guarantee the attacker’s move to the Italian capital.
