Paulo Dybala was among the top players left out of Argentina’s squad for the Copa America.

Despite finishing his second season in Rome with 16 goals and 9 assists to his name, Dybala did not make the cut for Lionel Scaloni’s squad list.

Tonight, Argentina won the trophy by beating Colombia in the final, 1-0 with a goal from Lautaro Martinez, and Joya decided to celebrate via his social media accounts.

On Instagram, Roma’s number 21 published a shot of his compatriots with the comment: “How nice to see this group lift a trophy again”.

Dybala’s last success with the national team was in the World Cup of 2022 in Qatar.
