Paulo Dybala had plenty of reasons to celebrate despite a disappointing result at the Stadio Olimpico which saw Roma grab a last minute equaliser.
The Argentine international analyzed the match in his post-match interview with DAZN.
“I really wanted to be here today. The supporters’ affection right from the start was incredible,” he said. “I was very eager and worked hard to be here and today I wanted to help my team.”
“Belotti’s decision to take the penalty? No one had been assigned to take it. He felt like having a go and I let him do it. We all trust each other. He missed, but anybody could have missed just as easily.”
“Karsdorp? These things stay in the dressing room, they can happen from time to time. We’re always close to our teammates.”
“The World Cup? Let’s hope it goes well. I didn’t know whether I’d make the final squad list. I tried to be here at all costs and fortunately it happened.”
