Paulo Dybala’s lack of playing time so far in Argentina’s World Cup tournament has further increased the 28-year-old’s motivation to return to Mourinho’s disposal for Roma’s second half of the season.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Dybala has expressed to his entourage his eagerness to return to the Italian capital and help lift Roma out of their recent slump.
Over the past week, Italian media have stated that Mourinho may try fielding the ex-Juve attacker as a lone striker or false nine, replacing the struggling Tammy Abraham in Roma’s starting eleven.
