Last night’s 1-1 draw between Roma and Atalanta saw a number of Giallorossi give impressive performances.
In a difficult and intense match, Mourinho was forced to rely on the 18-year-old defender Dean Huijsen – who officially joined the club on loan from Juventus on Saturday – to make his debut in place of Diego Llorente who exited the match after half-time due to injury.
Today’s Italian media ratings elected Huijsen among the best players for Roma. The Dutch centre-back held his own against a difficult opponent, completing a high percentage of passes and maintaining a solid backline alongside Gianluca Mancini.
Paulo Dybala and Edoardo Bove were also rated the highest by most newspapers, with an average rating of 6.5. The Argentine forward’s goal proved vital and his efforts to score in the second half did not go unnoticed. Similarly, Bove’s tenacity and stamina allowed the team to push late in the game despite fatigue setting in.
Diego Llorente and Leonardo Spinazzola received the lowest ratings for their performances.
