Roma attacker Paulo Dybala was recently asked to speak about Argentina advancing to the quarterfinals of this year’s World Cup. The ex-Juve man also described his close contact with Jose Mourinho, revealing how the Roma boss continues to reach out to him from Italy.

“Mourinho calls me every day,” he admitted to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “He wants to know how I’m feeling. I have a great relationship with him.”

“We’ve worked a lot together in order for me to get back to my best form,” he added.

“But I’m happy, I feel good and I’m glad we got through to the quarterfinals,” Dybala continued. “Roma played a crucial role in my recovery because they wanted me at all costs for the final game before the break.”

“When I got injured I was terrified because I knew there was little time to recover for the World Cup and the injury was quite serious.”

“Luckily I had the club’s medical staff at my disposal and they’re phenomenal.”
