Roma are set to fly to Saudi Arabia tomorrow where they will face Al Shabab on Wednesday in an international friendly.
The capital club’s participation in this event in Riyadh stems from the initial agreement that took place once Roma signed on with Riyadh Season as their new main sponsor.
This friendly disrupts Roma’s difficult moment in the season with Daniele De Rossi replacing Jose Mourinho as the team’s new head coach last week.
According to Corriere dello Sport, several Roma players are unlikely to participate in this match.
Paulo Dybala, for example, is highly questionable to feature at all after coming off for precaution on Saturday versus Hellas Verona. The player is hoping to be available for the weekend fixture against Salernitana.
Leonardo Spinazzola will remain in the capital as he is nursing a muscle injury.
