Paulo Dybala has been ruled out for Argentina’s upcoming list of fixtures.
Despite having been called up for the second consecutive time by Lionel Scaloni, Dybala will be unable to take on international duty during this two-week break.
As confirmed by the Argentine federation, it has been agreed for Dybala to remain in Italy and begin his recovery from the latest muscle injury suffered in the final training session leading up to Monza-Roma.
The extent of the injury is still unknown but the player is hoping to be able to come back for the match against Inter after the international break on 20 October.
