Dybala responds to Juve fans’ criticism of post-match celebrations

Andy Mattioli

Paulo Dybala found himself in the crosshairs of Juventus supporters following Roma’s 1-0 win over the Bianconeri in last night’s Serie A affair.

The criticism was in response to Dybala’s celebrations after the match including the Argentine attacker hugging Gini Wijnaldum after the final whistle.

On a Telegram group of which he’s the administrator, Dybala responded to his critics.

“I know it’s difficult for you… it’s difficult for me too, but today I play for another team and with other teammates whom I have to respect!”

“Winning is never easy and that victory important to us. There will always be respect on my part towards you, don’t be fooled by social media”

“I didn’t celebrate the goal, I didn’t go up in anyone’s face. I celebrated a victory with my teammates. I’m sorry you see it this way, I send you all a big hug. I love you.”
