Dybala set to remain at Roma after Chelsea links

Andy Mattioli

Roma attacker Paulo Dybala is not expected to depart the Italian capital anytime soon.

The Argentine was recently the subject of transfer rumors linking him, among others, with Chelsea given the active release clause in his current contract which remains valid for foreign clubs.

However, Dybala has not received any proposals in this window and is unlikely to even consider leaving Roma as his main priority remains extending his three-year deal with the Giallorossi.

According to Il Tempo, Dybala is set to remain in Italy. There is no movement around his contractual situation and his agents have not been approached by any club so far.

The player continues to wait for Roma to take the first step in negotiations over a new contract.
