Paulo Dybala is trying to accelerate his return to the pitch ahead of the highly anticipated World Cup campaign with Argentina.
The 28-year-old forward is now nursing a hamstring injury he suffered two weeks ago with Lecce, and awaits Luis Scaloni’s call-up for the international competition in November.
According to ANSA, Dybala is expected to be included in Argentina’s preliminary list for the World Cup which will be released this coming Friday.
In the meantime, the player’s status will be closely monitored by both Roma and Argentina’s medical staff in order to assess a more accurate timeline of recovery.
