The drama between Roma manager Paulo Fonseca and star striker Edin Dzeko appears to be over.
Sky Sport reports that the Bosnian attacker met with the Giallorossi boss after training today to clear the air following their row from two weeks ago.
The duo clashed after the training session the day after Roma’s Coppa Italia elimination at the hands of Spezia.
Following the bust up, the Portuguese technician opted not to call Dzeko up for the club’s last two matches and there were even whispers that he could decide to freeze him out of the squad for the remainder of the season.
Yesterday, though, Fonseca allowed Dzeko to return to full training with the group — a signal that the pair may be moving closer to a truce.
Today, meanwhile, the two met at the conclusion of this morning’s training session and, reportedly, the discussion was extremely positive. Fonseca appreciated the striker’s attitude after he expressed that he will do all he can for the club both on and off the pitch.
