Roma striker Edin Dzeko is waiting on the Giallorossi to formalise their purchase of Arek Milik from Napoli so that he can join Juventus.
The Bosnian already has an agreement in place with the Bianconeri, but he will not be allowed to depart until Milik and Roma resolve their problems with Napoli.
As the striker waits for the green light to leave the Italian capital, Il Tempo reports that the 34 year-old requested on Friday to manager Paulo Fonseca that he not play in yesterday’s match against Hellas Verona.
The ex-Wolfsburg man also skipped a pre-match tactical video meeting ahead of the clash against the Venetian side.
Dzeko did not want to run the risk of suffering an injury in the match against the Gialloblu, which could have potentially blown-up his potential switch to Juve.
