Dzeko could remain as Inter’s offer remains inadequate

Edin Dzeko has been in a transfer tug of war between Roma and Inter. The Giallorossi have slapped a €20 million price tag on the Bosnian as the Nerazzurri’s offer for the player continues to be inadequate. Because of this, Fonseca is keen on keeping Dzeko because of the incredible professionalism he has displayed during Roma’s ritiro. In fact, Sky Sport reports that the Portuguese boss has been so impressed with Dzeko, he asked the club about possibly handing him a contract renewal. Should the ex-Wolfsburg man opt not to sign, Roma are fine with keeping him until the expiration of his contract next summer. So while Inter continue to push for the Bosnian, a stay at Trigoria can not be ruled out.
