Roma attacker Edin Dzeko was interviewed in the first edition of the season of AS Roma Match Preview. Here is a preview of his words, which will be published in-full in the coming hours.
“It makes me happy to know other people are glad that I’ve remained here along with my teammates. I don’t want to call them just that, they’re friends, brothers. They were always there putting pressure on me: ‘You are not going anywhere – stay here’. I have a wonderful relationship with everyone, Pellegrini and Florenzi told me every day, ‘In the end, you’ll stay here’. Florenzi even told me he’d give me the captain’s armband if I stayed. Then he told me after I signed the renewal, ‘Here, it’s yours’, but I told him ‘You are our captain’.”
