Edin Dzeko returned to Germany today to take part in the 20th anniversary celebration of Wolfsburg’s first promotion to the Bundesliga in after the 1997-1997 season. Dzeko, who won the German league with the club in the 2008-2009 season, spoke at the ceremony to Sportbild:
“I am 31 years old, but only on paper, I have never felt better. I have another 3 years on my contract with Roma. I’m happy at Roma and have a good feeling about my future. Though, I hope to return to Wolfsburg again one day, obviously as a player. I owe the club so much, my entire career because without the experience that I had here I would never have been to play at Manchester City and Roma.”
