Dzeko speaks after brace, CSKA scalp

Edin Dzeko to Sky Sport after scoring a brace in Roma’s 3-0 victory over CSKA Moscow:

Does something click when you hear the Champions League music?
Yes, it’s the best competition. I have to say, though, I don’t know because three days ago we needed to do more and win. Today we gave more and did well, perhaps we just need more continuity, starting with me and then everyone else.

Does this victory change the outlook of the group?

Nothing has changed in the group, we have to aim at finishing first or second. Next we’ll have to play in Moscow and we’ll aim to win, because we certainly cannot lose.

When you talk to each other, have you figured out what the differences are (in performance) in the Champions League versus Serie A?
Perhaps we underestimated them and thought it’d be easy, you can never say never. We’ve done well in the Champions League for a couple of seasons now, however, we can do better. I can also do more. We need continuity.
