Dzeko starts in Inter friendly, Tammy Abraham seen bidding farewell to Chelsea supporters

Tammy Abraham’s transfer to Roma appears to be imminent.

Two clues emerged late this afternoon—both pointing to the Giallorossi successfully closing the operation for the young English striker.

The first involves a soon-to-be former striker: Edin Dzeko.

Although not official, the Bosnian has bid goodbye to Roma after six seasons. The attacker successfully underwent his medical two days ago with Inter, signing a two-year contract.

Even though neither club has announced the move, Dzeko featured as a starter for the Nerazzurri this afternoon in their friendly against Dinamo Kiev.

The last clue, meanwhile, came directly from Dzeko’s likely replacement. Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham was seen waiving goodbye to Blues supporters at full-time following their victory over Crystal Palace.

Roma met with Abraham and his representatives twice throughout the past 48 hours. After initial hesitation about moving abroad, the striker seems ready to accept a transfer to the Giallorossi.
