Roma were handed a brutal blow early this evening.
Just hours ahead of tomorrow’s league fixture against Crotone, Sky Sport is reporting that the Giallorossi’s star striker, Edin Dzeko, has been diagnosed with a muscle strain.
The Bosnian will be replaced tomorrow by Spanish forward Borja Mayoral against the Calabrian side, who sit bottom of the Serie A table.
It remains to be seen how long the injury will keep the former Manchester City man out, but there are serious concerns that tomorrow will not be the only match he misses.
Dzeko could also be absent from this Sunday’s league showdown against Inter as well as the Derby against Lazio in ten days.
