Roma have been dealt a major blow ahead of this weekend’s league affair against Genoa.
The Bosnian striker, who has scored 3 goals in 5 league matches, announced on his Instagram account today that he tested positive for the virus — one day after Fiorentina’s José Callejon, who was on the pitch against the Giallorossi last weekend, also tested positive.
”Hi everyone, unfortunately I have tested positive for COVID-19,” wrote Dzeko.
“I want to reassure everyone that I don’t have symptoms. However, I will be forced to isolate and be away from my teammates — but my heart and my mind will be with them starting on Sunday. Let’s go, lads! Forza Roma!”
