Roma midfielder Ebrima Darboe underwent successful surgery on the ACL which the player tore in Roma’s preseason friendly with Portimonense.
The club released the following statement via their official website:
Ebrima Darboe underwent surgery on Thursday morning to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The surgery, performed by Professor Georg Ahlbäumer at the Klinik Gut in St. Moritz, was completed successfully.
The player will stay at the Swiss clinic for a few days and will then return to Italy to begin his rehabilitation plan at the club’s Trigoria training centre.
