Former Roma attacker Edin Dzeko – one of the club’s top strikers of all time – discussed the difficult decision to part ways with the club in 2021.
The Bosnian international – who now plays at Inter – commented on his Roma exit in a recent interview with Arena Sport TV.
“It was hard for me to leave the capital after six years, but there was some sort of saturation by that point,” said the veteran attacker.
“We did good things together, I scored 119 goals but it was time to change. I felt that I could still play at high levels and still had something to offer to the sport.”
