Edoardo Bove describes scoring stunning goal versus Slavia Praha

Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove was the author of the Giallorossi’s first goal of the night with wonderful long-distance strike.

Less than one minute into tonight’s Europa League fixture with Slavia Praha, Bove put Roma 1-0 up.

Following the match, Bove discussed the goal and the team’s performance in an interview with Roma TV.

“It’s a deserved victory, we entered the game with the right mindset. The approach was what the coach emphasized in the locker room.”

“We controlled the match without any problems. I think today we showed what we are worthy and deservedly got a hold of first place in the group.”

“I moved the ball, I didn’t even think about it – I just kicked the ball with everything I had,” he explained.

“We are happy because we had to demonstrate that coming here as an opponent is not easy. With the atmosphere and our mentality, if we play like this it becomes difficult for many opponents.”

“I want to underline the defensive phase; if everyone sacrifices just a bit for the teammate next to him, and we help each other, it becomes difficult for other teams to score goals.”
