Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove was recently interviewed by Idealista about his close relationship with his boyhood club.
Bove – who came up through Roma’s youth sector, becoming captain of the Primavera and eventually a regular first team starter – had to say this of living in and around Trigoria:
“I remember everything perfectly. It was my first audition for the club and I showed up completely unaware, as my mother and grandmother accompanied me without telling me where we were actually going,” Bove described his earliest memories of Roma.
“The Fulvio Bernardini sports center in Trigoria has become my home over the years and it is clear that it represents a special place for me.”
“Having played for these colors for over 10 years now means being part of a journey that began as a child: it is a strong bond, which is intertwined with the passion for this game and these colours. If I look back, those colors have always been there for me.”
