Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove spoke about Daniele De Rossi’s impact and the team’s improvements over the last two games.

In the aftermath of Salernitana 1-2 Roma, Bove discussed the team’s performance with Roma TV.

“A very tough match, it’s worth a lot because they were in a difficult moment and their home crowd cheered them on like mad. We entered the field with great intensity, we moved the ball well. Then we were bothered by their counterattacks and we started to move the ball more slowly.”

“In the second half we came back as a great team and showed our abilities. Then we conceded a goal but we fought like a great team and we’re really happy with the three points.”

“We are working on some concepts that are different from what we were used to. This is normal when a new coach enters. Today I think the thing we need to improve is attacking the goal more and filling the opponent’s penalty area with more players. But we controlled the match well.”

“De Rossi? He gives me lots of advice. It’s up to me to incorporate it in my work. I’m really happy because I know that I can improve with the advice of a champion like him.”
