Roma secure a comfortable 1-0 win over Casa Pia in tonight’s friendly – the Giallorossi’s second of three, following the defeat with Cadiz a few days ago – despite not looking sharp enough yet.
Italian midfielder Edoardo Bove took the floor in front of the club’s microphones and commented on the importance of the Giallorossi’s training camp in Algarve.
“Today we played a game of great intensity. We played very well with the ball. We have found the time and the way to get away from the pressure of the opponent.”
“We’ve been training very well and we were able to express it on the pitch. We are very happy with the performance.”
“It’s always a pleasure to come here [in Portugal], be with the team and spend time with my mates. If you can then express it on the pitch, that’s even better. We are really pleased with our stay here.”
“Fifteen days until the league starts again are not many, but we are ready. I think that slowly we’re getting in shape and we’ll be ready to play come January.”
