Roma youngster Edoardo Bove was all smiles at full time after scoring in the Giallorossi’s 3-0 victory over Udinese this evening.

The midfielder opened the scoring just before halftime when the ball rebounded off the post to him from Bryan Cristante’s penalty.

“This was a huge win in our fight for Champions League football,” Bove told Sky Sport. “This season has taught us every game is difficult and you have to stay focused and on track in all of them.”

“Udinese are a good team, they’re really physical and gave us some problems throughout the ninety minutes. However, we did well to bring home the three points and we need to stay on this path.”

“It’s incredible to play with champions like Wijnaldum, Matic, Pellegrini and Cristante. I’m happy to play alongside them and each day I try to learn as much as I can from these guys.”

“I always do my best to be ready for whenever the managers calls on me. I take things one game at a time but I’m very happy with this evening.”
