Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove was the recipient of the Beppe Viola Award at the CONI institute in Rome.
While attending the event, the 21-year-old was asked about his time at Roma, his growth under Jose Mourinho and the rumored contract extension.
“I’m happy at Roma, I’ve also said it in other interviews. I grew up here, I don’t like talking publicly about my contract. I prefer to talk to the club about it internally and focus on the field, that’s what I have to do. I’m certainly very happy with where I am.”
“Slavia Praha? It’s a fundamental match if we want to finish first in the group, we’re both on six points. We’re coming off a good stretch both in the league and in Europe, we are playing well. We must continue on this path and try to bring home the three points.”
“Mourinho? He is a specialist in European nights, we did well enough to earn two European finals. We know how it works, the transition between the league and Europa League doesn’t matter much for us. Both competitions are valid.”
“We are very united as a team, our strength is the group. When there is a lack of cohesion on the pitch it shows. Yesterday was a beautiful, emotional victory.”
