Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove has grown into a regular starter for the Giallorossi over the last few games.
Yesterday against Cagliari marked Bove’s fourth consecutive match from the start for his boyhood club.
So far, the midfielder has given Mourinho all the answers he was looking for after Roma’s difficult start to the season.
With Bove as a start, Roma have won three times and drawn once – the player has thoroughly impressed the Special One, reports Corriere dello Sport.
In the absence of Renato Sanches and Lorenzo Pellegrini – both out with injury – Bove was able to earn the minutes he’d worked for so hard near the end of last season.
Given Bryan Cristante’s use in the defense as a result of Llorente and Smalling’s unavailability, Bove has now found his regular starting spot alongside Leandro Paredes and Houssem Aouar.
