Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove recently spoke at length about his close rapport with Giallorossi boss Jose Mourinho.
The former Primavera player saw his minutes steadily increase over the last two years, becoming a regular part of Mourinho’s rotations throughout the season.
In this year’s campaign, Bove proved key in Roma’s starting XI, providing the team with energy and pace in a midfield that – for the most part – suffers from being too static.
As reported by Il Tempo, Bove was quoted as saying, “Mourinho is like a teacher to me. The coach has given me many responsibilities, and this leads me to have a bond of great trust with him, as well as helping me grow on my own. He transmits mentality and attitude to us on the pitch and also in training, he is a master at this.”
