Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove is expected shortly to be back at Trigoria.
Less than two days into his spell with Italy’s U21 national team, Bove was forced to forfeit the remainder of the international break.
According to Sky Sport, Bove injured himself in training after clashing into another teammate.
A decision has already been taken by Italy’s U21 staff to enable Bove to anticipate his return to the Italian capital and begin his recovery there.
