Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove reflected on the team’s disappointing draw with Servette earlier tonight.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Bove admitted to some faults within the team’s approach and how the match ultimately unfolded in Geneva.
“We know what we have to do on the pitch and work on what the coach asks of us. We are a type of team that can get into difficulty when it loses intensity and attitude. When we are all united and working towards the same goal we are a great team. Today we wanted to win but we didn’t succeed. We are a great team and we will get back up.”
“We know that in Europe every match is difficult especially away with a great environment. The episodes in the match didn’t help us, we weren’t able to score despite many opportunities. Sometimes we suffered from their counterattacks but the game was dictated by the episodes. With an another goal it would have been a completely different story.”
