Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove stressed the importance of tonight’s Europa League clash against Servette.
After defeating Sheriff in Moldova two weeks ago, the Giallorossi host the Swiss side, who lost their opening match to Slavia Praha, in the Italian capital tonight for their second group stage of the competition.
“Why do we do better in Europe? I don’t think there’s been a huge difference in our performances in Europe compared to Serie A,” Bove told Sky Sport before kick-off.
“We look at matches individually. Obviously we’ve done well in Europe over the past two years by reaching two finals. We know how difficult it is and understand the important of doing well in the group stage.”
“Tonight will be fundamental in regards to progressing to the next stage. We need to step on to the pitch fully aware of this and give all we have.”
