Edoardo Bove thankful for Mourinho’s trust in him

As Roma climb in the standings to their Europa League group after a convincing performance in last night’s win over Helsinki, Edoardo Bove was one of the players to be given an opportunity to feature in the game’s second half.

The 20-year-old midfielder spoke about the group of players he’s surrounded by and thanked Mourinho for believing in him from the start.

“It was very important for us to be able to win today after losing the game with Ludogorets,” he told the club after the final whistle. “We want to get a message across and get back on track.”

“I’m very happy with the opportunities I’m being given. I try to learn as much as possible from my teammates and make the best of every minute I get to play on the pitch.”

“I thank the coach for the opportunities he’s giving me, I hope to be able to continue like this. I just want to help my teammates.”

“With this schedule, rotating the roster is normal. We all feel part of the group and there’s a wonderful feeling inside the dressing room.”
